Technical Notes
SE8500HW4 Server Set consists of mainboard and one memory board. Up to four memory boards may be installed.
Optional RAID on Motherboard (ROMB) requires RAID Activation Key (RAK) and 256MB, 512MB or 1GB Kingston upgrade installed into RAID DIMM socket.
When only two DIMMs are installed, the first bank, DIMM1A and DIMM1B, must be populated. When mixing dual rank and single rank modules, dual rank modules must be installed in first bank. Dual and single rank modules cannot be mixed within the same bank. Mixing x4 and x8 DRAM is not supported.
